Roy was born September 20, 1959 in Gettysburg, PA to the late Roy David Harbaugh, Sr., and Charity (Bobo) Harbaugh.
In addition to his Mother, he is survived by his siblings, Cindy Asper (William), Terry Harbaugh (Roxann), Gary Harbaugh, and Linda Harbaugh; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy spent most of his adult life handicapped but never let that slow him down. He worked at the Hanover Adams Rehabilitation and Training center (H.A.R.T.) in New Oxford for 38 years where he would do all sorts of odds and ends jobs. He enjoyed going on trips with the Lifeskills organization and looked forward to them very much. Roy was also an accomplished bowler and even competed several times in the Special Olympics.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, December 14, 2023, 2:00pm at the Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield, PA with Rev. Douglas Lichty officiating. A visitation period will precede the service beginning at 1:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will immediately follow the service at Fairfield Union Cemetery in Fairfield, PA.
