
Roy was born October 14, 1949 in Waynesboro, PA he was a loving husband to his wife of 45 years, Lois E. (Tate) Starliper.
Mr. Starliper was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of RE Starliper Construction for 40 years and then worked as a parts delivery man for AutoZone. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his beloved dog, Rosie. He also enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool at the local clubs, where he was a member of the Eagles Club of Gettysburg, the American Legion and VFW.
In addition to his wife, Roy is survived by his sister, Stella L. Gantt, of Houstontown, his daughter Marguerite Starliper, of Bendersville, his step-children, Wendy E. Slusser and spouse Jude A. Slusser, of Aspers, Stephen E. Wolff, of Gettysburg, Ronda M. Wells and spouse Thomas Wells III, of Fayetteville, Shawn A. Fravel and spouse Maura Fravel, of Maryland, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Roy will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA. Burial, with full military honors to be presented by the Adams County Allied Veterans, will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
