Ruth L. Boblits, 80, of Gettysburg, PA, died Sunday evening, November 2, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 24, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Laverne (Barthel) Lucas. She was the wife of Gene E. Boblits, of Gettysburg, to whom she was married for 61 years.
In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by her two children, Kevin Boblits and his wife Marion, of Gerrardstown, WV, Michelle Singleton, of Gettysburg, PA, four grandchildren, Krista Koppleman and her husband Scot, Kevin Michael Boblits and his wife Kellie, Taylor Singleton, Gabrielle Singleton, seven great grandchildren, Kacie Boblits, Kolle Boblits, Karli Koppleman, Jensen Koppleman, Kennedie Boblits, Emma Mabes, Wren Mabes, her brother, Charles Lucas, and was also loved by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Pat Lucas, Nancy Baublitz, Donald Lucas, and Barry Lucas.
