Sandra L. (Sandy) Johnson, 71 of Gettysburg, PA passed away peacefully at Brookdale Grandon Farms in Mechanicsburg, PA on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Born in Gettysburg on November 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ira D. & Doris D. (Woodward) Sease. Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Johnson, who died in 2024, with whom they shared 41 years together. Sandra spent a majority of her career as a Senior Mediation Specialist with the Federal Communications Commission in Gettysburg for 36 years. Above all, she was a devoted mother and wife who gave endlessly of herself to her family. Sandy loved to garden, cook, and bake and was a talented quilter and crafter. Sandy spent hours nurturing flowers and plants. She was happiest in the kitchen, filling her home with wonderful aromas, or quilting, sewing, or making her bears. Her kindness, warmth, and laughter touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Sandy is survived by her son, Patrick O. Sease of Gettysburg, PA, wife Tracy, and children Kaylee and Tyler.

A Viewing will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. Funeral Services will be private.
