Sandy was a woman of deep faith and attended services at Trinity Christian Fellowship in Biglerville. She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a nursing assistant at Homewood Nursing Home in Frederick, MD. Known for her servant’s heart, she also volunteered at New Hope Ministries and had an unwavering passion for helping people and animals alike. Sandy’s compassion and generosity were boundless, and she was especially devoted to her family. Nothing brought her greater joy than being a grandmother to Andrew, Isabella, and Isaac.

In addition to her mother, Sandy is survived by her two sons, Johnny Olvera and his wife Stephanie, and Rick Olvera and his wife Jaime, both of Littlestown. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Naugle and Penny Baker; her brothers, Jeff, Terry, and Danny Cox; and her beloved grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

The Family would love you to know that there will be no graveside service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Adams County SPCA in Sandy’s memory.
