Sara Jane Allen, age 99, of Shippensburg, passed away July 2, 2026, at Shippensburg Health and Rehabilitation. She was born January 10, 1927, in Chambersburg to the late Harvey and Mildred (Nicholson) Allen. Sara was a member of the Chambersburg Bible Church, Assembly of God, and loved to shop and play bingo.

She is survived by her brother, Alfred Allen of Chambersburg and nieces and nephews.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:00 am at Spring Hill Cemetery. Rev. Richard Reese will officiate the funeral.
