Born May 23, 1955 in Gettysburg, PA, to Ward S. Shields and the late Linda (Mickley) Shields.
Sharon graduated from Gettysburg High School class of 1973. She was the manager of the Book and Card Corner for 15 years. Most recently, she was an activities personnel at St. Catherine Nursing Home in Emmitsburg, MD until her retirement. Sharon had many interests and hobbies including, hiking, gardening, photography, visiting the ocean, and putting together puzzles. She loved her many cats and they loved her back. Sharon will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Hunter; her brothers, Timothy Shields and Brian Shields; and her parents, Ward & Irma Shields.
In addition to her mother, Sharon is predeceased by her brother, Glen Shields.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
