Susan W. Krick-Everhart, 94 of Gettysburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Concordia SpiriTrust at Gettysburg.

Born September 16, 1931, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel S. & Maude M. (Kling) Wentz.

Susan was predeceased by her husband, Richard D. Krick (1992), and Richard Everhart (2004).

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Gettysburg. Susan was a 1953 graduate of Millersville University and earned her Master’s Degree from Kent State University. She served as a School Librarian for the Gettysburg Area School District for thirty-one years.

Susan is survived by a nephew, Daniel S. Wentz, II, and wife Susanne of Magden, Switzerland, three nieces, Jenny Crawford and husband Danny of Yorktowne, VA, Holly Etheridge and husband William Al of Hampton, VA, and Alexandra Forlines and husband James of Lanexa, VA. She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel S. Wentz, II.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Concordia SpiriTrust, 1075 Old Harrisburg Rd., Gettysburg, PA, with the Rev. Andrew Geib officiating. A private interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. The Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.
