Sylvia A. Plank, 86, Biglerville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at her home.
She was born August 25, 1939, in Gettysburg, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and Edythe Funt Heller. Her husband, Charles R. Plank, died in 2016.
Sylvia was a 1957 graduate of Biglerville High School. She was employed at Giant Foods for almost 40 years, retiring in 2010. Sylvia enjoyed BINGO, cards, shopping, and auctions. She was also a fan of TV Westerns and game shows.
Mrs. Plank is survived by three daughters: Karen Plank and her companion Larry Miller of Biglerville, PA, Jodi Plank of East Berlin, PA, Robin Haller of Biglerville, PA, two grandchildren: Cody Haller, Colby Haller, brothers and sisters; Jerry Funt, Jean Sterner, Joan Reigle, Beverly Young, and Steven Heller. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Schmuck.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
