Taylor was a graduate of Gettysburg High School and earned her undergraduate and Master’s degrees from Shippensburg University. She was a dedicated teacher in the Conewago Valley School District. When she wasn’t in the classroom, she spent her time making memories with her family and her beloved dog, Moose.

Taylor had a gift for storytelling and an incredible sense of humor. She shared authentic love, care, and laughter with her family, friends, and students. She was artistically talented and used her creativity as a form of therapy during her courageous battle.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. In addition to her husband, children, and parents, Taylor is survived by her sister, Rachel Hertzog, and her family of Bendersville, PA.

A Memorial Service for Taylor will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, at First Baptist Church, 1015 Chambersburg Rd., Gettysburg, with Rev. Carl Harris officiating. A celebration of life will take place following the service at the residence of Shon and Jan Balderas, 1820 Granite Station Rd., Gettysburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made online to Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services (KPETS), as Taylor cherished visits from her favorite therapy dog, Danny.
