Teresa Virginia Rodgers, 91, of Fairfield, PA, died Sunday morning, April 20, 2025, at her home.
Born May 14, 1933, in Fairfield, she was the daughter of the late J. Harry and Helen (Sanders) Pecher. She was happily married to T. Eugene Rodgers who passed away in April of 1988 after 37 years of marriage. They raised their children on the farm that she dearly loved.
She dedicated her life helping those in need, She gave years of care helping her husband, her mother, and brother during their aging years. She volunteered at the Gettysburg Hospital and the Lutheran Home as a medical escort.

She retired from the 1108th Signal Brigade, Fort Ritchie, MD, after 34 years of service, where she was a Logistic Equipment management Specialist, managing and supervising the Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment for Classified Communications Equipment.
Teresa is survived by her six children, Thomas E. Rodgers and his wife Bonnie, of Blue Ridge Summit, M. Yvonne Butz and her husband Robert, of Nazareth, Gary M. Rodgers, of Carroll Valley, Daniel H. Rodgers and his wife Louann, of West Chester, Jeannie M. Thornton and her husband Stanley, of Fairfield, Donna M. Powers, of Fairfield, 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, her brother, F. Eugene Pecher, of Gettysburg, and her sister-in-law, Lottie Pecher. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Hutinet and Anna Lochbaum, her five brothers, Henry Pecher, Joseph Pecher, George Pecher, Alphonsus Pecher, and Paul Pecher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 256 Tract Rd., with Fr. Peter DiTomasso as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM at the church on Monday morning prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or the Fairfield Fire and EMS.
