Obituary: Timothy Clarence Orner

Timothy “Tim” Clarence Orner, age 68, of Biglerville, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home in Biglerville. He was born January 26, 1957, in Gettysburg, PA, as the son of the late William Herbert Orner, Sr., and Sarah Alice (Weikert) Orner.

Timothy graduated from Biglerville High School. Shortly after high school, Tim joined and served in the Air Force. He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree from Penn State York University. He retired from the State of Pennsylvania after working as a computer programmer for over 35 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arendtsville. In his spare time, Tim enjoyed gardening, tending to his fruit trees and bushes, riding motorcycles, being around his beloved cats, and spending time with his family.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Laura A. (Moreno) Orner; Samantha Ann Lane and her husband, Kevin of Dillsburg; three grandchildren, Blaine Orner-Mackey, Lillian Lane and Quentin Lane; four brothers, Gerald D. Orner, Russell M. Orner, Daniel E. Orner and William H. Orner, Jr.; one sister, Joyce M. Wingard and many nieces and nephews.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at noon at Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville, PA 17306, with Chaplain Tim Brown officiating.

A Public Viewing will take place from 11:00 AM until the time of services. The Graveside Service with military honors, following the service, will be private for family only. Friends may express online condolences at www.DuganFH.com.
