She was the daughter of the late Archie George Nagle, Jr. and Alice Catherine (Bloom) Nagle. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Edward Hull who died March 29, 2015. She is survived by her two daughters, Heidi E. Hull of New Oxford and Cheryl L. Hull Goethe and her husband Jonathan of Maui, HI. Also surviving are her grandsons, Andrew and Owen Goethe, one sister, Trudy A. Nagle Sterner and her husband Lloyd âJunieâ of Orrtanna, brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sue Hull, of Fairfield, numerous nieces and nephews, and a dear friend, Susanne Coyle. She was preceded in death by a close friend Linda McDannell.
Vanessa graduated from Fairfield High School in 1970. She worked for TAB Books, Kinney Shoe, Dr. John Chalklos dental office, Adams County Courthouse, and then retired from United Parcel Service in 2006 after 27 years of service. Vanessa loved antiquing, volunteering, and her loving pets Ivan and Abbey.
A memorial service for Vanessa will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the services Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home. The interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimerâs or Dementia Foundation or to the Adams County SPCA.
