Vista F. Regan, 103 of Gettysburg, PA, peacefully passed away at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg on Monday, August 18, 2025.
She was born February 8, 1922, in Mitchell County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Albert & Adell (Buchanan) Frye. Vista was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius Regan, in 1997. She was raised on a small farm near Bakersville, NC, along with her six sisters and three brothers. Vista was the second-oldest child. She had a deep compassion that was fostered at a young age, helping her mother with her younger siblings and assuming responsibility for the farm chores.
After her marriage to Cornelius, she worked in Baltimore, MD, with the Western Electric Co. for many years until her retirement.
Vista enjoyed trips with her husband to visit her large family. She was a dog lover and enjoyed their company in her home for many years.
Vista is survived by a nephew, Douglas Stamey of Concord, NC, and a niece, Judy Nilsson of Anacortes, WA. She was predeceased by her nine siblings.
Funeral Services will be held at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2025. A Visitation will take place one hour prior to the services.
