Walter R. Bull, 84, of Fairfield, PA, died Monday, June 30, 2025, at Transitions Healthcare, Gettysburg, PA.
Born December 8, 1940, in Baltimore County, MD, he was the son of the late Olan and Goldie (Thompson) Bull. He was the husband of the late Joyce L. (Naylor) Bull, who died November 30, 2017.
Mr. Bull was a self-employed roofing contractor working in the area for many years. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Walter is survived by his four children, Gregory S. Bull, of Tennessee, Glynda Zeller and her husband Daren, of York, PA, Shannan Beard and her husband Roy, of Fairfield, PA, Jennifer Bull, of Mercersburg, PA, seven grandchildren, Gregory D. Bull, Amanda Bull, Tyler Zeller, Andrew Zeller, Dustin Zeller, Dylan Zeller, Sarah Beard, 12 great grandchildren, Natalie Bull, Adelynn Bull, Rylee Bull, Mikaela Lopez, Mia Zeller, Sophia Zeller, Jameson Zeller, Callaway Zeller, Brantley Zeller, Maverick Zeller, Luna Zeller, Cayden Knee, two sisters, Dorothy Bosley, Rachel Lyons and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Walter was preceded in death by his grandson, Jacob Beard, as well as 11 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Walter will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Monahan Funeral Home, 27 E. Main St., Fairfield, PA. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
