Zenith Reed, age 83, went into the arms of our Lord on June 1, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Stoner) Rosenberry.
Zenny grew up in Roxbury and was a young teenager when she met her husband, James K. Reed from Pleasant Hall. They married in 1959 and spent a wonderful life of 67 years together. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she always strived to make it special, especially for the kids. In their later years, Zenny and Jim found a winter home in Florida where they made many friends.
Zenny worked several jobs over the years, mostly with the federal government, and retired from Letterkenny Army Depot.
In addition to her husband, Jim, Zenny is survived by her daughter, Lindy Maxwell and husband, Curt; grandchildren, Stephanie Johnson, Angela Johnson, and Kyle Clever; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Dawn Gadberry and husband, Trent and Alma Paulus and husband, Paul.
