PA Interfaith Community Programs, Inc. (PICPI)
In January 1969, as a response to community needs, local churches created Adams County Interfaith Housing Corporation, now called Pennsylvania Interfaith Community Programs, Inc. In our four decades of existence, many people have contributed countless hours of dedicated work. Each link in the chain was vital to expand and sustain our mission… every meeting attended, site inspected, government form submitted and resubmitted, nail hammered, roof shingled, and tenant key issued. Today we manage nearly 400 rental units of affordable housing In communities throughout Adams County. Through our Financial Counseling and Home Ownership Programs, renters become homeowners and those in debt become financially self-sufficient. Every person makes a unique contribution and the chain with its individual links continues to grow, providing a better future for all members of the community.
