PA Organizations mobilize for housing affordability

Across our commonwealth, families are struggling to meet our most basic needs. Many of us lack any healthcare for ourselves or our children. There are no towns or neighborhoods where we can afford to rent or buy a home. We struggle to keep up with the rising cost of food, even though many of us work day in and day out on farms and food production facilities, ensuring that others are able to feed their families.

The deepening challenges that we face as Pennsylvanians are not limited to any city or town, to any language or race, but are felt across the whole of our Commonwealth. We know that the resources and ability to ensure everyone’s well-being are plenty. Yet, as we head into another election cycle, immigrant families will again be the focus of the political class of this country, those who take aim at the poor rather than take action to end poverty.

Join us on March 2nd and add your family’s voice to the chorus of voices forging a better future for all in our state. We are bringing our demands this budget season and declaring the many needs we have as Pennsylvanians. The action is part of a 40-week campaign of engaging with and mobilizing all of Pennsylvania’s poor and low-wealth voters. Our votes are our demands, and our demands are the most basic needs of every Pennsylvanian family.
