The 2024 Upper Adams School District Color Day was held on Monday as students in grades 4-6 participated in physical education activities and dance.
Events included a 1/4 mile run, 50 yard dash, 100 yard dash, sack race, 3 legged race, 200 yard relay, softball throw, foul shots, and jump rope. Tournaments included volleyball, soccer, and kickball.

The students participated in a Asian themed opening ceremony routine choreographed by Deborah Yargar-Reed.
Retired teacher Larry Kennedy was honored for having been present at 59 Color Days over the years. While he could not make it on Monday, he was there in spirit and relayed a reminder to the students to have good sportsmanship.
All students participated in the fan-favorite tug-of-war.
Retired teacher Jane Little helped organize the day and manage some events.
The American Legion Honor Guard also participated in the opening ceremony and Arendtsville Lions Club volunteers assisted with parking.
