The bridge replacement project on state Route 116 west of Gettysburg has started. Route 116/Fairfield Road is closed from Baltimore Street to Knoxlyn-Ortanna Rd. Local traffic only.

The bridge spans a tributary to Willoughby Run just west of Willoughby Run Road in Cumberland Township. PLEASE PLAN YOUR TRAVELS ACCORDINGLY.

The detour uses Knoxlyn Ortanna Road (Route 3020), Knoxlyn Road (Route 3013), Route 30, and Baltimore Street. Trucks should follow the detour route and refrain from using township roads.
