Pottery Lessons

ms= trebuchet=>We feel it is necessary for new potters to experiment with clay in all different forms. Therefore we rotate our lessons to include:
- Throwing – learn how to shape clay on the potter's wheel.
- Sculpting – learn how to hand mold a two or three-dimensional work of art.
- Slip Casting – learn how to make alter and trim ceramics.
- Coiling/Pinch Pot – learn how to share vessels with clay coils and pinching clay.
- Slab – learn how to make a pattern and create with rolled flat clay.
- Glazing/Finishing – learn how to properly glaze or paint your clay creations.
- Open Studio – is offered to adults students who meet general clay working and studio criteria. Please inquire.
Class Times:
- Tuesday: 6:30-7:30pm
- Thursday: 6:30-7:30pm
