Lincoln Cemetery Project Association will hold a Remembrance Day Program Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Cemetery, on the corner of Lincoln and Long Lane in Gettysburg.
A featured speaker, Lenwood (Leni) Sloan is well known across the U.S. as a catalytic agent, animator, and facilitator of cultural and heritage programs. For the past 40 years, Mr. Sloan has provided inspiration, leadership, and technical assistance both in the public and private sector. He has recognition in various field and received numerous awards.
Currently, Sloan serves as executive Director of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Monument Project which preserves, conserves, and advocates for historic and cultural monuments throughout the state.
