Family representatives are renewing public appeals to help locate Mark Henry Hicks, who has been missing since June 22, 2025, from the New Oxford area.
Relatives say the case has struggled for attention since Hicks was first reported missing. Two of the investigators who initially led the probe — Detective Baker and Sergeant Becker* — were tragically killed in the line of duty, a loss that devastated the family and raised concerns about momentum in the search.
Loved ones report a steady stream of tips, including anonymous leads, and are urging residents across Adams County and surrounding communities to keep sharing Hicks’ information. Regular updates are posted on Facebook at “Come Home Mark.”
“We need help keeping Mark’s name and face out there,” said Virginia Hicks, Mark’s mother, who continues to plead for public assistance. Erica Hicks, caregiver for Mark’s seven children, is coordinating outreach and can be reached at 717-680-1510.
