The United Lutheran Seminary will welcome families to its annual Breakfast With Santa on Saturday, Dec. 6, offering a festive start to the holiday season while raising money for children’s programs supported by the United Way of Adams County.
The event will take place in the Refectory Building at 148 Seminary Ridge in Gettysburg, with free on-site parking available. Multiple time slots are offered throughout the morning—8 to 8:50 a.m., 9 to 9:50 a.m., and 10 to 10:50 a.m.—to help families plan their visit. Registration is required, and organizers note that prepayment must be completed online via the link on the event flyer.
Breakfast includes a selection of warm and chilled morning favorites served with beverages. Admission is $9 per person, while children under age three may attend at no cost. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
One of the event’s highlights is a visit with Santa Claus, which gives children the opportunity to take photos with their mobile devices. Each child attending will also receive a small toy and a book from Ready to Learn, a local early-literacy initiative that partners with several community organizations.
The fundraiser supports a range of children’s programs across Adams County through United Way, which supports early learning, family stability, and youth development. The event is backed by numerous community sponsors, including Healthy Adams County, Gettysburg Times, Adams Electric Cooperative Inc., Members 1st Federal Credit Union, and several local businesses.
