“As part of my studies”, Pellegrino says, “I have performed onstage at the world’s only recreation of the Blackfriars Playhouse, but my favorite stage will always be home here at GCT. I am so grateful to out cast and crew for their commitment to telling a story about political cycles and people.”
The Tragedy of Julius Caesar often abbreviated as Julius Caesar, is a history play and tragedy by William Shakespeare first performed in 1599. Julius Caesar is a play about political cycles, power, and how people think. When a conspiracy brews to bring down the titular leader, Brutus must reckon with a flood of questions: What is for the good of Rome? What does the future hold? And can the end ever truly justify the means?
