Sunny, brisk weather created a festive setting for the 4th annual Arendtsville Christmas Parade today. The parade left the Arendtsville Community Fire Company noon and processed through the small town spreading holiday cheer.
The parade included elves, the grinch, ponies, horses, and of course Jolly St. Nick himself. Bags of candy were handed out to joy-filled onlookers.
Organizer April Jones enjoys making arrangements for this small town parade. “It makes people happy,” she said. “We wish everyone a happy and healthy new year.”
Jones sponsors the Christmas parade and reports that she has helpers as well to bring this special event to the community.
Many thanks go to Jones and her generous team.
