East Pennsboro scored early and often yesterday, effectively putting the game away in the first three innings en route to a five-inning 19-0 blistering of home-standing Gettysburg.
East Pennsboro plated four runs in the first inning, six more in the second, and four in the third. The Panthers racked up 19 hits and played error-free defense. In contrast, Gettysburg struggled to find its footing, finishing the game with only three hits and five fielding miscues.

East Pennsboro’s Gracie Barter had two doubles, a triple, and five RBIs. Ella Harter also shone with a double and four runs batted in. Other notable performances included Madison Tate with a double, and five RBIs, and Chelsea Hoover, Irys Kline, and Jackie Capers, each with an RBI.
Gettysburg’s offensive efforts were led by Samantha Carbaugh, who hit a double and stole a base. Kate Keller and Aubry Forsythe each added a hit for the Warriors, with Emily Haines contributing a stolen base as well.
