St. James Lutheran Church welcomed families from Adams County on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for its annual Breakfast with Santa, part of the Gettysburg Christmas Festival. The free event was open to the public, and church members volunteered to serve a hot meal featuring pancakes, eggs, sausage, and assorted juices. The festive breakfast also included seasonal crafts and coloring pages.
One of the highlights was the chance for children to meet Santa Claus in his decorated house, where families could stop by for photos and holiday greetings. Youngsters lined up eagerly, excited to meet Jolly Old St. Nick.
Upstairs in the church’s gathering area, families enjoyed a selection of winter-themed games, offering children a fun way to celebrate the season after their meal. Laughter, excitement, and Christmas cheer filled every corner of the church.
The event once again showcased St. James Lutheran’s commitment to bringing the community together and creating joyful memories for families during the holiday season.
