“The Tortured Poets Department” is Taylor Swift’s eleventh studio album, and it arrived in all its double-album glory overnight on Wednesday. With it, the musician will continue her highest-grossing music tour to date. The album is also expected to surpass $1 billion in sales.
To promote the album, Swift released a string of Easter eggs, or clues, as part of a pop-up exhibit in Los Angeles. QR codes were also included in major cities, which directed fans to a range of cryptic videos. The pop-up exhibit and the QR codes were designed to enhance public anticipation of the album, which is the first to surpass $1 billion in sales.

As a four-time Grammy Album of the Year winner, Swift has won the highest number of Grammy albums in history. She is also the world’s highest-earning female musician, with an estimated net worth of $1.1 billion.
Although instantly recognizable all over the world, Swift’s appearances at NFL football games this past season may have even added to her fame. She is currently in a relationship with Travis Kelce of the Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs and attended games throughout the regular season and playoffs.
