Keeping Adams County residents safe is a big job, and it takes a big team to do it.
The work is handled in part by the staff at the Adams County Emergency Services Center, located on Greenamyer Lane East of Gettysburg. The center coordinates police, fire, and EMS services for the entire county.
In addition to the 911 center the team also monitors hazardous wastes, and is the home of the county’s disaster preparation team.
