Dear LASD Community,
We’re writing today to reaffirm our commitment to the students, families, and future of Littlestown Area School District.
Our focus remains clear: we are here to serve students, taxpayers, and the entire LASD community with integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Our campaign is built on real, measurable priorities—stronger academics, improved state test scores, responsible financial stewardship, and a school environment that offers excellent extracurricular opportunities. We are also committed to strengthening collaboration with parents, teachers, and local residents, attracting new families to our district, and exploring ways to bring cyber, charter, and homeschooled students back into our classrooms.
We take our fiscal responsibility seriously. This year, the Finance Committee recommended a 0% tax increase—demonstrating our ongoing commitment to limiting the burden on taxpayers, especially our seniors, while continuing to pursue high-quality education for all students.
We understand that progress takes time, persistence, and a willingness to ask difficult questions. That’s what we’ve done—and will continue to do—as board members committed to positive, student-centered change while being mindful of the impact on taxpayers.
We remain focused on the future of LASD. Our community deserves leadership grounded in truth, collaboration, and a vision for success.
We invite you to stay involved—come to meetings, ask questions, and be part of the conversation. Your voice and support matter.
Student-Focused. Fiscally Responsible.
That’s our commitment to you.
Sincerely,
Janell Ressler (Four year term)
Steven Yerger (Four year term)
Jeanne C. Ewen (Two year term)
