Saturday at 4 p.m., Music, Gettysburg! will present “The Golden Age of Lutheran Choral Music.”
Led by the Boston Shawm and Sackbut Ensemble (America’s premier Renaissance band) and the Schola Cantorum of Gettysburg, the afternoon will include music by composers from Martin Luther to J. S. Bach.
The music is astounding in its range and beauty, and this is a chance to hear it performed by superb musicians and original instruments. The concert will take place at the Gettysburg chapel of United Lutheran Seminary (147 Seminary Ridge) and is free and open to all.
Music, Gettysburg! is a premier concert series featuring international, regional and local musical artists for the greater southern Pennsylvania region. Concerts are free and open to the public.
