Totem Pole Playhouse Announces 2026 Tucked Away Treasures Series

Totem Pole Playhouse proudly announces its 2026 Tucked Away Treasures Series, continuing the beloved Tucked Away Tuesdays tradition. This year’s lineup showcases unexpected, delightful, and thought-provoking live events at Totem Pole Playhouse.

“Tucked Away Treasures is about exploring new types of entertainment — experiences you won’t see in our summer series,” said Ryan Gibbs, Producing Artistic Director. “It’s a chance for our community to come together and celebrate something fresh, fun, and unexpected. These events reflect the kinds of performances our audiences have been asking for — new ways to laugh, connect, and enjoy live entertainment.

Each event in the Tucked Away Treasures series offers audiences a unique opportunity to laugh, reflect, and engage in unforgettable ways.

The series begins with Addressing Gettysburg: A Tucked Away Podcast Event on April 12 at 2:00 PM. From the hit local podcast Addressing Gettysburg, host Matt Callery and his team will step out of the studio for a live recording at Totem Pole Playhouse. This special event celebrates the start of the America 250 commemoration, blending history and humor in a dynamic, audience-driven format.

Next, A Visit with Sally Struthers — Hosted by John Putch takes the stage on May 1 at 7:30 PM and May 2 & 3 at 2:00 PM. Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Struthers joins longtime friend and Totem Pole favorite John Putch for an intimate onstage conversation. Together, they’ll reflect on her remarkable career — from All in the Family to Gilmore Girls — sharing personal stories, laughter, and behind-the-scenes memories, followed by an audience Q&A.

The summer continues with The Boy Band Experience —on August 18 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM. The Boy Band Project transports audiences back to the golden age of pop with the music of NSYNCBackstreet Boys98 Degrees, and more. With Broadway-level talent and high-energy choreography, this show is pure nostalgia, fun, and heart — the ultimate singalong night out. Come embrace your inner super-fan.

Closing out the series is Jonathan Burns — The Life of the Party on October 24 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Central PA’s own Jonathan Burns, seen on America’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us, returns home for a night of outrageous comedy and offbeat magic. With humor, flexibility, and creativity, Burns delivers a one-of-a-kind performance that invites audiences to laugh, gasp, and truly be the “life of the party.”
