Trees For Troops Project Is Underway

Christmas tree retail outlets have signed up and committed to be “Official Trees for Troops Locations” for 2024. Through these outlets, you can buy a fresh Christmas tree and donate it to the program, adding to those already donated by farms and retail lots. All trees donated through an Official Location will be picked up Monday, December 9, by FedEx Freight and delivered to a base during week 2 of the program. Some of these locations even offer online purchase and donation of trees. Visit their website to join in with those donating a fresh Christmas tree to military families in 2024
Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding and Brig. Gen. Mark A. Goodwill, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs director of joint staff, will help load trucks at Bustards Trees in Landsdale with donated trees to be shipped to military families. Pennsylvanians are invited to donate through Trees for Troops, which provides Christmas trees and handwritten cards to military families across the United States and to troops stationed around the world.
