On October 31, 2022 at approximately 5:14 a.m. Troopers from PSP-Chambersburg were investigating a vehicle crash on Black Gap Rd. at the intersection of Olde Scotland Road, Greene Township, Franklin County.
While on scene, the investigating Trooper was struck by a passing motorist.
The Trooper was flown from the scene to Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and is currently in stable condition.
The operator of the striking vehicle did stop at the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
