LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the Gettysburg women’s golf field team have been named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team by virtue of their finishes at the championship on Apr. 23.
Caroline Kurtt (Denver, Colo./Clovis [Calif.]) and Ava Nicole Markunas (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg Area) earned a spot on the first team. The coaching staff, led by head coach Sue Konstalid, earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors as well.

Kurtt posted a round of 83 to place second overall, while Markunas was tied for fourth with a round of 84 at the championship. On the season, Kurtt has averaged 84.4 over nine rounds, while Markunas has an 86.6 stroke average over eight rounds.
Konstalid and assistant coach Kathy Murphy guided the Bullets to their 11th CC crown. This is the first year the award has shifted to Coaching Staff of the Year. Konstalid previously earned CC Coach of the Year honors six times since the inception of the award in 2011.
Gettysburg, by virtue of the conference championship, earned the automatic berth to the NCAA Div. III championship, which will be contested on May 9-12 at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
