The Lower Dauphin Falcons secured a 5-2 victory over the Gettysburg Warriors on Tuesday afternoon at Gettysburg. The Falcons’ offense produced eight hits, while the Warriors managed six hits.
Lower Dauphin’s standout players included Hunter Strohm, who went three-for-four with a triple, and Trey Harper, who contributed two hits. Colin Warner and Roman Wintergrass each added a hit. The Falcons left ten runners on base.
For Gettysburg, key performers included Bryce Rudisill, who hit a triple, and Ajonte Bullock, who contributed a double and drove in a run. Braden Manning and Wyatt Sokol both added doubles. The Warriors stranded five runners.
On the mound, Lower Dauphin’s Noah Heath pitched 6.1 innings, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out nine. Ethan Duff stepped in for the final two outs to secure the victory.
Gettysburg’s pitchers struggled to contain the Falcons’ offense. Braden Manning started the game, going five innings and giving up two runs on five hits while striking out five. Hunter Gillin and Wes Coolbaugh also took the mound but couldn’t stop the Falcons from scoring, allowing a combined three runs ( two earned) on three hits.
