The 2024 Master Watershed Steward Watershed-Friendly Native Plant Kit Sale, organized by the Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward Program, is set to bring a touch of nature to local communities across Pennsylvania. This year, the event features an enticing offer of three distinct native plant plug kits, each curated to foster ecological benefits such as habitat creation, stormwater management, and pollution reduction on personal properties.
For residents in and around Adams County, the local pickup will be hosted at the Adams County Ag & Natural Resources Center located at 670 Old Harrisburg Rd, Gettysburg, PA. The collection dates are scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
