Join with the Watershed Alliance of Adams County on Tuesday, Feb. 20 for a look at the unique hydrological cycle in our county.
You’ve likely heard of the hydrological cycle—evaporation, condensation, precipitation—but do you know what makes this cycle different here in Adams County? Our local geology plays a key role in how water behaves here—and has critical implications regarding water quality both at home and downstream.
The talk is part of a series of public presentations aimed at equipping you to take meaningful action to promote and protect the quality of our water resources here in Adams County. Others include an update on the Culp’s Run Restoration Project, a review of our water-quality testing program results, and a look at the findings of our pathogen testing program. We invite you to join us for this and future educational programs!
Gather in the downstairs conference room at the Adams County Agricultural and Natural Resources Center (the “Ag Center”), 670 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, beginning at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there! Admission is free.
