HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Gettysburg College women’s basketball team will have to wait a few extra days to get back on the hardwood following the cancellation of the Stevens Institute of Technology Holiday Tournament scheduled for Dec. 29-30.
Gettysburg (7-1), which is ranked 19th in the latest D3hoops.com national poll, was slated to play Catholic University (9-1) on the opening day of the Stevens Tournament. Instead, the Bullets will return to campus in late December to begin preparing for competition in the new year, with the coaching staff hoping to add another potential non-conference opponent in early January. The next scheduled opponent for Gettysburg will be Bryn Mawr College on Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. in Bream Gym.
