NEWVILLE, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women’s cross country team wrapped up its 2021 campaign on Saturday by placing 14th among 31 at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional, hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School.

The Finish Line  

  • Junior Amy Cantrell (Hailey, Idaho/Wood River) led the Bullets for the second consecutive week by placing 44th out of 218 runners. She was timed at 25:03 on the muddy 6,000-meter course.
  • Not far behind was senior Kate O’Brien (Lynchburg, Va./Virginia Episcopal School), who placed 69th in 25:43.
  • Also figuring into the team scoring were junior Amanda Addesso (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire), who placed 78th in 25:51, sophomore Claira Royce (Canton, N.Y./Hugh C. Williams), who claimed 99th in 26:16, and freshman Emily Trout (Ocean View, Del./Sussex Academy), who came in 105th in 26:32.
  • Finishing as displacers were senior Ashlyn Booher (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs), who took 140th in 27:43, and sophomore Rachel Fischler (Avon, Conn./Avon), who came in 155th in 28:36.
  • Isabel Cardi of Dickinson, who won the individual title at the Centennial Conference Championship two weeks, captured the individual title this week by 43 seconds, clocking 22:13.

Coming Up  

The race marked the final meet of the season for the Bullets.
