LANCASTER, Pa. The Gettysburg College women’s golf team competed on day one of the Centennial Conference Championship at the Conestoga Country Club in Lancaster on Saturday.
Match Summary
Junior Cameron D’Amica (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) is appearing in her second career conference championship and is currently in eighth place after carding a 94 in the first round. She hit a birdy on hole No. 3 and six bogeys on the par-70 5,629 yard course.
Seniors Lindsay Waller (Perry, Mich./Perry) and Claire Nagel (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) made their conference championship debut. Waller sits in 18th after carding a 109 and Nagal is 21st with a 118.
The Bullets are one of four squads without the minimum number of golfers to qualify for a team score. Marymount University (Va.) holds the team lead with a 363 followed by Cabrini University (417), Dickinson University (421), and Ursinus College (457).
