Women’s Golf Opens Season at McDaniel Invitational

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women’s golf team opened its spring campaign at the McDaniel Invitational on Saturday.

 
Match Summary

Junior Cameron D’Amica (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) placed fourth by posting a 94 at the single round invitational to lead the Bullets squad. It was the fourth time in her career that she collected a top-five finish.

 

In her first career golf outing, senior Claire Nagel (South Plainfield, N.J./South Plainfield) cared a 104 to place seventh and classmate Lindsay Waller (Perry, Mich./Perry) finished with a 128 to take 12th.

 

Jessica Lamarca from Ursinus College won the event with a round of 82. Ursinus was the only Centennial Conference team to enter a full squad.
