Junior Bri Stokes ’21 (Sudbury, Mass./Lincoln-Sudbury) was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, March 3.
Stokes earned her first-ever weekly award from the conference after leading third-ranked Gettysburg (3-0) with six points on three goals and three assists against No. 21 Denison University. The junior attacker had a hand in each of the team’s first four goals, dashing to the cage for the first two scores and then assisting on the next two. She added a goal and an assist on back-to-back tallies to give the Bullets a 12-4 lead with 12:57 to play.
On the season, Stokes leads the team with 10 goals and 17 points. She needs four more points to reach 100 for her career.
Gettysburg visits eighth-ranked Washington & Lee (3-1) on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m.
