LANCASTER, Pa. Sophomore Caroline Sullivan (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) was named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career following a pair of strong performances against nationally-ranked teams last week.
In a 17-7 win over No. 8 Messiah, the sophomore midfielder totaled two goals, one assist, two ground balls, and a caused turnover. Sullivan tied the mark for most caused turnovers over the last 11 years with a career-high five against No. 12 Denison, adding a career-high five ground balls, one goal, and one assist in the 14-7 decision.

Sullivan, who was named the top defender on April 13, 2021, has totaled four goals, three assists, nine ground balls, four draw controls, and seven caused turnovers in three games this season. She is the second Gettysburg player to earn weekly honors with classmate Jordan Basso (Rye, N.Y./Rye) being named Offensive Player of the Week last week.
