GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women’s lacrosse program will host the annual Battle of Gettysburg Women’s Lacrosse 5v5 Tournament and Clinic for high school girls on Sunday, February 13, 2022, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and going until 1:30 p.m. at Clark Field and the Hauser Field House.
The cost for players to participate is $95. The payment as well as a completed registration form must be received by February 7, 2022. Players may register as either a team (ranging in size from 6-10 players; GK required) or they may register as individuals and we will place them on a team of independents.
The day is designed for players who are looking to polish their skills before the start of their seasons. The morning will start with a brief clinic covering 5v5 attacking and defensive principles and will include demonstrations by the nationally-ranked Gettysburg College women’s lacrosse team and coaching from the Gettysburg staff, including three-time NCAA Division III Champion and Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Hall of Fame coach Carol Cantele ’83.
Players should bring the following items with them to the clinic: eye wear, mouth guard, stick, goalie equipment (if applicable), water bottle, and clothing for both indoor and outdoor environments. Cross-trainers are the recommended footwear.
Registration will take place in The Center Lobby located on W. Lincoln Ave between 8:45-9:30 a.m. As stated on your registration form there will be no refunds issued if you choose not to attend.
