
BALTIMORE, Md. – The Gettysburg College women’s tennis team (1-4) dropped a 9-0 decision at Johns Hopkins University (5-0) on Saturday.
Singles competition

Match Recap
Johns Hopkins won 24-of-26 games in doubles play. Sophomore Alex Rieg (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) and freshman Gillian Rozenfeld (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield) fell to Anjali Devireddy and Emily Javedan 8-1 at the top flight.
Rozenfeld accounted for the most points in singles play, taking three games in the second set as part of a 6-0, 6-3 loss to Devireddy at the top flight. Johns Hopkins won the top three singles bouts in straight-sets before closing the final three singles wins in pro-sets.

Johns Hopkins has won the last 20 matches against Gettysburg. The Blue Jays lead the all-time series with the Bullets 22-17.
