Gettysburg marched its way to the Centennial Conference Championship semifinals back in 2019 before the next two seasons were cut short due to the pandemic. A full spring schedule awaits the Bullets and fifth-year Ali Flores ’08 and comes on the heels of a strong fall campaign. Gettysburg went 3-0 this past fall and featured a combined record of 41-3 in singles and doubles competition. The fall schedule culminated with the Bullets winning three singles titles and a doubles crown at the Goucher Invitational.

The spring schedule begins with the team’s annual spring trip to Hilton Head, S.C., which will feature 3-4 matches. Past opponents during the trip south have included both Division II and III institutions from Ohio, Michigan, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Nebraska.

Gettysburg opens its conference schedule at 14-time defending champion Johns Hopkins University on Saturday, March 19, at noon. The first home match will feature a non-conference foe with 2021 MAC Commonwealth runner-up Lebanon Valley College on March 23 at 3:30 p.m.

The Bullets fill face six consecutive conference opponents beginning with Ursinus College on March 26. April opens with Gettysburg hosting Muhlenberg College on April 2. The Bullets beat the Mules 9-0 in 2021. Back-to-back road trips to Franklin & Marshall College and Bryn Mawr College follow on April 5 and April 9, respectively.

Dickinson College visits the Bullets Tennis Courts on April 13, kicking off a three-match home-stand for Gettysburg. The Bullets face Washington College three days later before taking on Division II Shippensburg University on April 20 at 3:30.

Gettysburg caps the regular season against a pair of perennial conference playoff participants in Swarthmore College and Haverford College. The Bullets visit Swarthmore on April 23 and close the regular season one week later at home against the Fords. Swarthmore and Haverford did not compete last spring due to the pandemic.
