GETTYSBURG, Pa. The Gettysburg College women’s track & field team will compete at the Centennial Conference (CC) Outdoor Championships at Muhlenberg College on Saturday.
This will be the first time the Bullets have competed in a conference championship since the indoor season back in March 2020.
Several Bullets find themselves ranked in scoring positions heading into the meet. Athletes must finish among the top-eight to accumulate points.

During the season, three athletes either moved into the program’s all-time outdoor top-10 list or climbed the ladder. Schauder and Ferrara both entered the top-10 list earlier this season with Schauder ranking tied for third in the pole vault (9-6 ¼) and Ferrara ranking seventh in the javelin (122-1). Alessi moved up four spots on the top-10 list in the hammer (fifth, 124-11), which she just accomplished last weekend to claim the win.
The participants competing in the hammer will travel to Johns Hopkins University on Friday at 2 p.m. On Saturday, the meet will start at 11:30 a.m. in Allentown, Pa. with the javelin, long jump, high jump, and the 10,000-meter run. *No spectators will be permitted at the outdoor track & field championships due to Centennial Conference COVID-19 policies.
