Championship History
Five-time champion Stevens Institute of Technology has left the Centennial, leaving the door open for a new champion to rise. Muhlenberg is the favorite after going through the dual season unbeaten and will vie for its first title since 1995. Washington & Lee University was runner-up last season. Ursinus College leads all institutions with 11 team championships. The Bears also lead the way with 57 individual champions. Gettysburg has never won the CC team title and has crowned 24 individual champions.

Bullets’ Projected Lineup

By the Numbers

  • Gettysburg will rely on a young lineup to improve upon its fifth-place finish from a year ago. Only Thompson and Martin have previously competed at the conference championship event.
  • Thompson has placed in each of his conference championship appearances. After finishing fourth at 141 pounds in 2018, he managed a runner-up showing at the weight class last season. The junior leads the team with 28 wins and six major decisions and he ranks second with 11 pins.
  • Martin dropped both of his matches in his conference championship debut as a freshman. He is 24-14 overall this season with 16 pins, which ranks third in program history for a single season.
  • Mougalian has emerged as the top newcomer with 17 wins and seven pins at 149 pounds. He’s filling the spot vacated by three-time conference place-winner Colin Devlin ’20 (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin), who will miss this weekend’s event due to injury. Devlin is a two-time conference silver medalist.
